MARCOZA Castings 30 inch Bronze Plaques – Texas Trail Medallions

Texas Trail of Fame Medallions

MARCOZA Castings specializes in architectural castings, ornamental restorations and plaques that exhibit timeless beauty and endurance. You can see some of our most enduring bronze plaques,  30″ bronze plaques, on display at the Texas Trails Stockyard Station, in Fort Worth Texas.

The Texas Trail of Fame

All of these 30″ bronze plaques bear the names of honorees such as John Wayne, Willie Nelson, and Annie Oakley. At Texas Trail of Fame, you can learn how each honoree has made significant contributions to western heritage and history. You can see our 30″ bronze plaques, bedded into the sidewalks, some for decades, throughout the historic Fort Worth Stockyards.  Annually, new 30″ bronze plaques are added to designate new inductees during the Texas Trail of Fame Induction Ceremony. Currently, there are approximately 116  30″ bronze sidewalk plaques and many more bronze recognition plaques on display throughout the grounds.

Thousands of visitors and dignitaries view The Texas Trail Medallions, just as they have for more than a decade.  MARCOZA Castings is honored that the Stockyards Association continues to select our 30″ bronze plaques commemorating the community’s western heritage.

Specialized Processing

In creating these specialized architectural castings, our layout department set and review all lettering. Then, molders create each mold and process it through our ‘continuous loop’ no-bake system where the plaques are cast. The 30″ bronze plaques are then hand-chased by our finishing department and given a rich dark bronze patina. We detail the raised lettering and graphic features which are then satin-finished to a high luster. Finally, we give the entire product a clear urethane coating for a lasting finish. Our high-profile manufacturing process has been featured in articles and on the Discovery Channel program “How Its’ Made”.
