Fort Worth Garden Club Honors Their Leadership

The Presidents of the Fort Worth Garden Club from 1981 to 2023 have been acknowledged and honored with a bronze plaque on display at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. Their strong visionary leadership has contributed to the growing positive impact the Club has had in the community.  Many of the award programs, the annual tree give way, workshops, and classes offered to the public have continuously promoted the Club’s founding vision and purpose.

The Fort Worth Garden Club was organized in 1926, with the expressed purpose:

to cultivate a broader knowledge of gardening, horticulture and design, to advocate for the protection of the environment, and to support the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.

Exciting times are ahead as the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and the Botanical Research Institute of Texas have joined forces.  Their combined effort in botanical preservation, research, and education is likely to have an even greater impact on the local community as well as all of Texas.

Thank you Fort Worth Garden Club!
